The association offer opportunities for advocacy, networking, market linkages, knowledge transfer and decentralized processing facilities. Our services offers a holistic approach covering the whole plant-based oils value chain.

Knowledge Transfer

ENOAK offers hands on knowledge transfer to all stakeholders in the plant based oils sector. We also provide Business Development services (BDS), agricultural extension services to contracted farmers and address gaps in the plant-based oil industry.

Advocacy

ENOAK advocates for better government policies that protect the sector against exploitation and unfair competition from imports. The members are continually informed on changes in government regulations and legislation impacting the operation of this industry.

Remote Support Services

The association plans to invest in mobile distillers with a deliberate intention of decentralizing processing services to remote areas. The overall result will be reduction in cost of production and creating local opportunities in marginalized areas.

Networking

To enhance accelerated growth of the essential industry in Kenya, ENOAK creates opportunities for its members to closely interact and network among the stakeholders. The interactions are centered on capacity building on biomass production and natural oils production for local and international demands.

Membership

The association provides a platform through which individuals and institutions in the natural oils value chain aggregate. Members engage on issues that are centered on accelerating growth of the industry. The association is open for industry drivers, producers, processors, exporters and industry partners driving the future of plant based oils in Kenya.

Quality Control

The association will ensure high standards are maintained for members processing plant based oils. Our activities will start from the primary level of production by ensuring organic farming practices, ethical sourcing and compliance. At the tertiary level, our members are encouraged to implement good manufacturing practices and adhere to local and international standards. ENOAK will ensure products emanating from our members adhere to the superlative standards.
